Heather has over a decade of leadership experience in a variety of retail settings: lululemon athletica and ATB Financial to name a few. Heather is passionate about the future of the retail sector and the careers within. Her most recent position with the School of Retailing at the Alberta School of Business has afforded her the luxury of working with leaders and pioneers in the retailing and commercial real estate sector. Her loves are: style and design, travel, authenticity, watching the bachelor and all bachelor adjacent shows.
Branding & Marketing Consultant
Josh is in his third year of the Alberta School of Business BComm program with a major in Marketing. This is his second year with SOR | CG and he is excited to apply his marketing knowledge to various real-world marketing and retail problems to help find creative solutions for businesses. He also co-hosts a marketing podcast with fellow SOR consultant Moh. But don't expect any wisdom or great insights from Josh, that's what the guests are for. When not on campus or recording, he is probably listening to a podcast and drinking a cappuccino or craft beer depending on the time of day.
Chelsea is in her third year of the Alberta School of Business BComm program, with a major in Marketing and is enrolled in the Real Estate Certificate program. She is looking forward to using her analytic and creative skills to help solve retail and marketing problems in the real world setting while gaining valuable knowledge from some of the best in the field. When not working or on studying on campus, she can be found working on her own creative projects or enjoying food and drinks with friends!
Jen is in her fourth year student at the Alberta School of Business with a majoring in Marketing. She joined the SOR | CG to apply her knowledge gained through schooling to help solve issues the issues clients face. Jen hopes to expand her knowledge of marketing and skillset through real-world application. She is a huge fan of london fogs, hot yoga, and the toronto raptors. Also, Jen makes an incredibly sub-par guacamole & is the President of the University of Alberta Marketing Association!
Moh is in his third year at the Alberta School of Business with a major in Marketing and a minor in Strategic Management Operations. He first heard about the School of Retailing through a podcast called Marketing Major and it immediately caught his interest and he knew he had to find a way to get involved. When Moh is not in class or too busy studying for midterms, you'll find him hunting down the next best Edmonton restaurant to check out, working on his design skills, or cheering on his beloved Toronto Raptors. Go Raps!
Ty is in her last semester of her undergraduate degree at the Alberta School of Business with a major in Marketing. Ty just joined the SOR | CG this year. She is extremely excited to apply the knowledge she has gained in her studies to real-world retail and marketing problems in order to help businesses succeed. When Ty is not working or studying she is working on her own passion projects, socializing with friends and family or planning her next ski trip.
Anika is in her third year at the Alberta School of Business, majoring in Business Economics and Law with a minor in Marketing. This is her first year joining the SOR team, and she is thrilled to have the opportunity to enrich her professional development in the exciting field of retail. With a passion for school involvement, Anika is also in the process of completing her Leadership Certificate and is the VP Events of the Business Students Association. When she isn't in class or meetings, you can usually find her inhaling yam fries at Earls Happy hour or curled up with a good book, coffee in hand.
Erin is in her third year in the Alberta School of Business BComm program, majoring in Accounting and minoring in Marketing. Along with being a member of the University of Alberta Pandas Volleyball Team, Erin is in the process of completing her leadership certificate at the Peter Lougheed College. She is passionate about women in business and hopes to learn from some of the best leaders in the retail industry. When not on the court or studying, you can find Erin searching for the best poutine in Edmonton.
